We’re excited that one of our recently completed projects was featured in the October 2023 issue of MKE Lifestyle magazine.
The existing structure, our clients vacation home for many years, needed updating. After meeting with the homeowners and discussing options, the decision was made to add 4,500 square feet to the existing home, creating an approximately 8,000 square foot home. Our clients sold their primary Illinois residence and moved to the home on Little Muskego Lake full time after the renovation was completed, allowing them to continuing enjoying “Lake Life.”
Serving as the project’s general contractor, Balsitis Contracting oversaw the addition of three levels to the home. This included five bedrooms, a great room, two kitchens, a wet bar, movie theatre room, and indoor sports court.
The renovated home was designed for entertaining and large family gatherings. The main kitchen has an adjacent prep kitchen, with two islands to entertain within an expansive space. The lower level kitchen walks out to the lake and an entertainment area. Selections incorporated into the renovation were made to keep finishes comfortable for intimate settings.
Our clients love everything about their “new” home, especially having the room to accommodate family during the holidays and the “entertainment” areas of the home.
