Balsitis Contracting recently completed an 800-square-foot renovation of the lower level of a Lake Geneva home, creating the ultimate sports-themed “man cave.”
There was a desire to prominently display the homeowner’s prized sports memorabilia collection, and this was done throughout the space. The open area features spacious seating with a poker table and framed sports jerseys and photos on display.
The well-appointed wet bar includes a sink, dishwasher, full refrigerator and freezer, an ice maker, a 75-inch television, and a counter seating area.
The wine/cigar room, with a glass door, is a 175-square-foot enclosed room with a humidor and ventilation system, allowing cigars to be smoked without impacting the rest of the home. The space features a wine cooler and wine rack system, plus custom cabinetry to display the homeowner’s liquor collection. Two images complete the space – an action photo of Michael Jordan and a vintage 1970s Mustang, the homeowner’s favorite car.
